यौ तौ कुमाराव इव कार्तिकेयौ; दवाव अश्विनेयाव इति मे परतर्कः मुक्ता हि तस्माज जतु वेश्म दाहान; मया शरुताः पाण्डुसुताः पृथा च ।। १-१८०-२१ ।।

sanskrit

'The two other youths, resembling Kartikeya, I suspect, are the sons of the twin Ashwins. I heard that the sons of Pandu, along with their mother Pritha, had all escaped from the conflagration of the house of lac.' ।। 1-180-21 ।।

english translation

yau tau kumArAva iva kArtikeyau; davAva azvineyAva iti me paratarkaH muktA hi tasmAja jatu vezma dAhAna; mayA zarutAH pANDusutAH pRthA ca || 1-180-21 ||

तम अब्रवीन निर्मलतॊयदाभॊ; हलायुधॊ ऽनन्तरजं परतीतः परीतॊ ऽसमि दिष्ट्या हि पितृष्वसा नः; पृथा विमुक्ता सह कौरवाग्र्यैः ।। १-१८०-२२ ।।

'Then Halayudha, whose complexion resembled that of rainless clouds, spoke with great satisfaction to his younger brother Krishna, saying, "I am delighted to hear, as I do by sheer good fortune, that our father's sister Pritha and the foremost of the Kaurava princes have all escaped from death!"' ।। 1-180-22 ।।

tama abravIna nirmalatòyadAbhò; halAyudhò 'nantarajaM paratItaH parItò 'sami diSTyA hi pitRSvasA naH; pRthA vimuktA saha kauravAgryaiH || 1-180-22 ||
