तस्मिंस तु शब्दे महति परवृत्ते; युधिष्ठिरॊ धर्मभृतां वरिष्ठः आवासम एवॊपजगाम शीघ्रं; सार्धं यमाभ्यां पुरुषॊत्तमाभ्याम ॥ १-१७९-२१ ॥
'As that great tumultuous sound reverberated, Yudhishthira, the eldest among those upholders of righteousness, quickly proceeded to the abode together with the two best among men, Yama and Purushottama (Krishna).' ॥ 1-179-21 ॥
english translation
tasmiMsa tu zabde mahati paravRtte; yudhiSThirò dharmabhRtAM variSThaH AvAsama evòpajagAma zIghraM; sArdhaM yamAbhyAM puruSòttamAbhyAma ॥ 1-179-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविद्धं तु लक्ष्यं परसमीक्ष्य; कृष्णा पार्थं च शक्र परतिमं निरीक्ष्य आदाय शुक्लं वरमाल्यदाम; जगाम कुन्तीसुतम उत्स्मयन्ती ॥ १-१७९-२२ ॥
'And as Krishna beheld the target hit and saw Partha, resembling Indra himself, who had struck the mark, he was filled with joy. Approaching Kunti's son, Krishna offered him a white robe and a garland of flowers.' ॥ 1-179-22 ॥
english translation
viddhaM tu lakSyaM parasamIkSya; kRSNA pArthaM ca zakra paratimaM nirIkSya AdAya zuklaM varamAlyadAma; jagAma kuntIsutama utsmayantI ॥ 1-179-22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस ताम उपादाय विजित्य रङ्गे; दविजातिभिस तैर अभिपूज्यमानः रङ्गान निरक्रामद अचिन्त्यकर्मा; पत्न्या तया चाप्य अनुगम्यमानः ॥ १-१७९-२३ ॥
'And Arjuna, the achiever of extraordinary feats, having won Draupadi through his success in the amphitheatre, was reverentially saluted by all the Brahmanas. Shortly thereafter, he departed from the arena, accompanied closely by her who had thus become his wife.' ॥ 1-179-23 ॥

sa tAma upAdAya vijitya raGge; davijAtibhisa taira abhipUjyamAnaH raGgAna nirakrAmada acintyakarmA; patnyA tayA cApya anugamyamAnaH ॥ 1-179-23 ॥
