अब्भक्षा वायुभक्षाश च फलाहारा दृढव्रताः दुर्बला हि बलीयांसॊ विप्रा हि बरह्मतेजसाः ॥ १-१७९-१२ ॥
'Abstaining from all food, or subsisting on air or fruits, and steadfast in their vows, Brahmanas, though emaciated and seemingly weak, are always strong in their inner strength.' ॥ 1-179-12 ॥
