स मेरुकूटाद आत्मानं मुमॊच भगवान ऋषिः शिरस तस्य शिलायां च तूलराशाव इवापतत ॥ १-१६६-४१ ॥

'The illustrious sage descended from the summit of Mount Meru, but as he fell upon the stony ground, it seemed as gentle as a heap of cotton.' ॥ 1-166-41 ॥

english translation

sa merukUTAda AtmAnaM mumòca bhagavAna RSiH zirasa tasya zilAyAM ca tUlarAzAva ivApatata ॥ 1-166-41 ॥
