भॊजनीयानि पेयानि भक्ष्याणि विविधानि च लेह्यान्य अमृतकल्पानि चॊष्याणि च तथार्जुन ।। १-१६५-११ ।।

sanskrit

'Similar to nectar itself, she yielded a variety of delightful items, O Arjuna, with ambrosial tastes suitable for drinking and eating, as well as for licking and sucking. Additionally, she provided many precious gems and diverse types of robes.' ।। 1-165-11 ।।

english translation

bhòjanIyAni peyAni bhakSyANi vividhAni ca lehyAnya amRtakalpAni còSyANi ca tathArjuna || 1-165-11 ||

तैः कामैः सर्वसंपूर्णैः पूजितः स महीपतिः सामात्यः सबलश चैव तुतॊष स भृशं नृपः ।। १-१६५-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'Worshipped with an abundance of these coveted objects, the monarch, along with his ministers and troops, became greatly pleased.' ।। 1-165-12 ।।

english translation

taiH kAmaiH sarvasaMpUrNaiH pUjitaH sa mahIpatiH sAmAtyaH sabalaza caiva tutòSa sa bhRzaM nRpaH || 1-165-12 ||

षड आयतां सुपार्श्वॊरुं तरिपृथुं पञ्च संवृताम मण्डूकनेत्रां सवाकारां पीनॊधसम अनिन्दिताम ।। १-१६५-१३ ।।

'The monarch marveled at the sight of the cow with six prominent limbs, beautiful flanks and hips, five broad limbs, eyes resembling those of a frog, striking in size, high udders, faultless structure, straight and erect ears, handsome horns, and a well-formed head and neck.' ।। 1-165-13 ।।

सुवालधिः शङ्कुकर्णां चारु शृङ्गां मनॊरमाम पुष्टायत शिरॊग्रीवां विस्मितः सॊ ऽभिवीक्ष्य ताम ।। १-१६५-१४ ।।

'Astounded, he beheld her with a beautiful hump, graceful ears, charming horns, a lovely neck, and a well-fed, majestic head.' ।। 1-165-14 ।।

suvAladhiH zaGkukarNAM cAru zRGgAM manòramAma puSTAyata zirògrIvAM vismitaH sò 'bhivIkSya tAma || 1-165-14 ||

अभिनन्दति तां नन्दीं वसिष्ठस्य पयस्विनीम अब्रवीच च भृशं तुष्टॊ विश्वामित्रॊ मुनिं तदा ।। १-१६५-१५ ।।

'And, O prince, Gadhi's son, fully satisfied and praising the cow named Nandini, spoke to the sage, saying.' ।। 1-165-15 ।।
