वसिष्ठॊ ऽथ विसृष्टश च पुनर एवाजगाम ह यत्र विख्यत कीर्तिः स कुरूणाम ऋषभॊ ऽभवत ॥ १-१६३-६ ॥
'After receiving Tapati from the Sun god, the illustrious Sage Vasishtha returns to the realm of the Kurus, where King Samvarana, renowned as the foremost among his clan, awaits.' ॥ 1-163-6 ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptस राजा मन्मथाविष्टस तद्गतेनान्तरात्मना दृष्ट्वा च देवकन्यां तां तपतीं चारुहासिनीम वसिष्ठेन सहायान्तीं संहृष्टॊ ऽभयधिकं बभौ ॥ १-१६३-७ ॥
'Upon beholding the divinely beautiful Tapati, her sweet smile illuminating her face, arriving with Sage Vasishtha, King Samvarana, his heart already captivated and soul consumed by love for her, radiated with unparalleled joy and splendor.' ॥ 1-163-7 ॥

sa rAjA manmathAviSTasa tadgatenAntarAtmanA dRSTvA ca devakanyAM tAM tapatIM cAruhAsinIma vasiSThena sahAyAntIM saMhRSTò 'bhayadhikaM babhau ॥ 1-163-7 ॥

'Following twelve arduous nights for King Samvarana, the revered Sage Vasishtha, his soul immaculate, returns to the royal presence.' ॥ 1-163-8 ॥

'Through the spiritual prowess of Sage Vasishtha, King Samvarana wins his bride Tapati, after propitiating with intense austerities the divine lord of cattle, Shiva, who grants boons to the devout.' ॥ 1-163-9 ॥

'In a celestial ceremony atop the most exalted mountain, graced by the presence of gods and gandharvas, King Samvarana, the paragon among men, ceremoniously weds Tapati following sacred rituals.' ॥ 1-163-10 ॥
