'Witnessing the ghastly metamorphosis of the once-thriving kingdom into a charnel ground of despair, the sagacious and virtuous Vasishtha, his soul ever-aligned with dharma, hastens to confront Samvarana, that paragon among monarchs now lost in celestial rapture.' ॥ 1-163-17 ॥
