तत्र नारायणॊ देवॊ बराह्मणम इदम अब्रवीत चिन्तयत्सु सुरेष्व एवं मन्त्रयत्सु च सर्वशः ॥ १-१५-११ ॥
'There, Lord Narayana addressed Lord Brahma, saying, "Contemplating upon this among the gods and reflecting on it in various ways, discuss it thoroughly."' ॥ 1-15-11 ॥
english translation
देवैर असुरसंघैश च मथ्यतां कलशॊदधिः भविष्यत्य अमृतं तत्र मथ्यमाने महॊदधौ ॥ १-१५-१२ ॥
'Let the ocean of milk be churned by the assembly of gods and demons, and thereby, the nectar shall manifest in that churning of the vast ocean.' ॥ 1-15-12 ॥
english translation
सर्वौषधीः समावाप्य सर्वरत्नानि चैव हि मन्थध्वम उदधिं देवा वेत्स्यध्वम अमृतं ततः ॥ १-१५-१३ ॥
'Churn the ocean, and you shall obtain all medicinal herbs and precious gems. By the churning process, O gods, you will discover the nectar thereafter.' ॥ 1-15-13 ॥
