न तव एतद अकुलीनासु नाधर्मिष्ठासु विद्यते यद बराह्मणार्थे विसृजेद आत्मानम अपि चात्मजम ।। १-१४९-५ ।।

sanskrit

'Even those of low birth and sinful conduct refuse to do what you ask of me. It is said that one should sacrifice oneself and one's offspring for the benefit of a Brahmana.' ।। 1-149-5 ।।

english translation

na tava etada akulInAsu nAdharmiSThAsu vidyate yada barAhmaNArthe visRjeda AtmAnama api cAtmajama || 1-149-5 ||
