[बराह्मण] नाहम एतत करिष्यामि जीवितार्थी कथं चन बराह्मणस्यातिथेश चैव सवार्थे पराणैर वियॊजनम ॥ १-१४९-४ ॥

'Hearing this, the Brahmana replied, "I will never allow this to be done to save my own life. I cannot sacrifice the life of a Brahmana or a guest even to save myself."' ॥ 1-149-4 ॥

[barAhmaNa] nAhama etata kariSyAmi jIvitArthI kathaM cana barAhmaNasyAtitheza caiva savArthe parANaira viyòjanama ॥ 1-149-4 ॥
