एकस तव सुतॊ बालः कन्या चैका तपस्विनी न ते तयॊस तथा पत्न्या गमनं तत्र रॊचये ॥ १-१४९-२ ॥

'You have only one son, who is very young, and a single daughter, vulnerable and delicate. I am unwilling for any of them, or your wife, or even yourself to go to the Rakshasa.' ॥ 1-149-2 ॥

ekasa tava sutò bAlaH kanyA caikA tapasvinI na te tayòsa tathA patnyA gamanaM tatra ròcaye ॥ 1-149-2 ॥
