वेतनं तस्य विहितं शालिवाहस्य भॊजनम महिषौ पुरुषश चैकॊ यस तद आदाय गच्छति ।। १-१४८-६ ।।

sanskrit

'The payment set for that Rakshasa is his sustenance, comprising a cartload of rice, two buffaloes, and a human being to deliver them to him.' ।। 1-148-6 ।।

english translation

vetanaM tasya vihitaM zAlivAhasya bhòjanama mahiSau puruSaza caikò yasa tada AdAya gacchati || 1-148-6 ||
