[बराह्मण] उपपन्नं सताम एतद यद बरवीषि तपॊधने न तु दुःखम इदं शक्यं मानुषेण वयपॊहितुम ॥ १-१४८-२ ॥

'The Brahmana replied, "O possessor of ascetic wealth, your words truly befit you. However, this sorrow cannot be dispelled by any mortal."' ॥ 1-148-2 ॥

english translation

[barAhmaNa] upapannaM satAma etada yada baravISi tapòdhane na tu duHkhama idaM zakyaM mAnuSeNa vayapòhituma ॥ 1-148-2 ॥
