[य] करुद्धॊ ऽपि पुरुषव्याघ्र भीम मा सम सत्रियं वधीः शरीरगुप्त्याभ्यधिकं धर्मं गॊपय पाण्डव ।। १-१४३-२ ।।

sanskrit

'Yudhishthira, witnessing the fury that had consumed Bhima, beseeched him, saying, "O Bhima, my valiant brother, thou who art a true tiger among men, even in the face of such provocation, I implore thee to stay thy hand and refrain from striking down a woman. Remember, O noble Pandava, that the adherence to dharma and the steadfast observance of virtue must always take precedence over the mere preservation of one's mortal life."' ।। 1-143-2 ।।

english translation

[ya] karuddhò 'pi puruSavyAghra bhIma mA sama satriyaM vadhIH zarIraguptyAbhyadhikaM dharmaM gòpaya pANDava || 1-143-2 ||
