पूर्वार्ध कायसंपन्नम इतरेणाप्रकाशता सपुत्रॊ रॊषसंपन्नः शशापैनाम इति शरुतिः ॥ १-१४-१६ ॥

sanskrit

'In her human form, she appeared radiant, and in the other half, she gleamed without external light, bearing a son and harboring intense anger. It was then that she pronounced a curse upon Kadru, as narrated in the scripture.'॥ 1-14-16 ॥

english translation

pUrvArdha kAyasaMpannama itareNAprakAzatA saputrò ròSasaMpannaH zazApainAma iti zarutiH ॥ 1-14-16 ॥
