अयं नीलाम्बुदश्यामॊ नरेष्व अप्रतिमॊ भुवि शेते पराकृतवद भूमाव अतॊ दुःखतरं नु किम ।। १-१३८-२२ ।।

sanskrit

'This one, dark as a blue cloud, unmatched among men on earth, lies on the ground as if defeated. What could be more sorrowful than this?' ।। 1-138-22 ।।

english translation

ayaM nIlAmbudazyAmò nareSva apratimò bhuvi zete parAkRtavada bhUmAva atò duHkhataraM nu kima || 1-138-22 ||
