पाण्डवा धृतराष्ट्रेण परेषिता वारणावतम उत्सवे विहरिष्यन्ति धृतराष्ट्रस्य शासनात ॥ १-१३२-६ ॥
'Dhritarashtra has sent the Pandavas to Varanavata, where they will revel in the festivities at his behest.' ॥ 1-132-6 ॥
english translation
स तवं रासभ युक्तेन सयन्दनेनाशु गामिना वारणावतम अद्यैव यथा यासि तथा कुरु ॥ १-१३२-७ ॥
'O mighty one, now quickly depart for Varanavata with an excellent chariot, as you are ready, and make your way accordingly.' ॥ 1-132-7 ॥
english translation
तत्र गत्वा चतुःशालं गृहं परमसंवृतम आयुधागारम आश्रित्य कारयेथा महाधनम ॥ १-१३२-८ ॥
'Arriving there, construct a quadrangular mansion near the armory, adorned with lavish materials and furnishings, and ensure diligent guarding of the premises.' ॥ 1-132-8 ॥

शणसर्जरसादीनि यानि दरव्याणि कानि चित आग्नेयान्य उत सन्तीह तानि सर्वाणि दापय ॥ १-१३२-९ ॥
'And utilize hemp, resin, and any other flammable materials available in the construction of that house.' ॥ 1-132-9 ॥
english translation
सर्पिषा च सतैलेन लाक्षया चाप्य अनल्पया मृत्तिकां मिश्रयित्वा तवं लेपं कुड्येषु दापयेः ॥ १-१३२-१० ॥
'Mixing a small amount of earth with clarified butter, oil, fat, and a substantial amount of lac, create a plaster for lining the walls.' ॥ 1-132-10 ॥
