धृतराष्ट्रस्य तं कामम अनुबुद्ध्वा युधिष्ठिरः आत्मनश चासहायत्वं तथेति परत्युवाच तम ॥ १-१३१-११ ॥

'Vaisampayana continued, 'Yudhishthira, comprehending Dhritarashtra's intentions and acknowledging his own vulnerability and lack of support, replied to the king, saying, "As you wish."'' ॥ 1-131-11 ॥

english translation

dhRtarASTrasya taM kAmama anubuddhvA yudhiSThiraH Atmanaza cAsahAyatvaM tatheti paratyuvAca tama ॥ 1-131-11 ॥

ततॊ भीष्मं महाप्राज्ञं विदुरं च महामतिम दरॊणं च बाह्लिकं चैव सॊमदत्तं च कौरवम ॥ १-१३१-१२ ॥

'Then, he addressed Bhishma, the highly wise; Vidura, the greatly intelligent; Drona, Bahlika, and Somadatta of the Kauravas.' ॥ 1-131-12 ॥

tatò bhISmaM mahAprAjJaM viduraM ca mahAmatima daròNaM ca bAhlikaM caiva sòmadattaM ca kauravama ॥ 1-131-12 ॥

'Yudhishthira then slowly and solemnly spoke the following words to Kripa, the son of the teacher, the illustrious Gandhari, and others present.' ॥ 1-131-13 ॥

'Following the command of Dhritarashtra, we will go to the delightful and populous town of Varanavata, accompanied by our friends and followers.' ॥ 1-131-14 ॥
