'Meanwhile, Drona continued to reside in Ahicchatra. Thus, O king, the region of Ahicchatra, rich with towns and cities, was conquered by Arjuna and then bestowed upon Drona.' ॥ 1-128-18 ॥

evaM rAjanna ahica chatrA purI janapadAyutA yudhi nirjitya pArthena daròNAya paratipAditA ॥ 1-128-18 ॥
