आग्नेयः कृत्तिका पुत्रॊ रौद्रॊ गाङ्गेय इत्य अपि शरूयते भगवान देवः सर्वगुह्य मयॊ गुहः ॥ १-१२७-१३ ॥
'The illustrious deity Guha, blending the attributes of all other deities, hails from an unknown lineage. Some claim him as the progeny of Agni, others of Krittika, some of Rudra, and yet others of Ganga.' ॥ 1-127-13 ॥
