गान्धारी च महाभागा कुन्ती च जयतां वर सत्रियश च सर्वा या राज्ञः सप्रेष्याः सपरिच्छदाः हर्षाद आरुरुहुर मञ्चान मेरुं देव सत्रियॊ यथा ॥ १-१२४-१४ ॥
'And, O foremost among victorious men, Gandhari, blessed with great fortune, along with Kunti and the other noble ladies of the royal household, adorned in magnificent attire and accompanied by their attendants, joyfully ascended the platforms, resembling celestial beings ascending Mount Sumeru.' ॥ 1-124-14 ॥
