बरह्म चारी विनीतात्मा जटिलॊ बहुलाः समाः अवसं तत्र सुचिरं धनुर्वेद चिकीर्षया ॥ १-१२२-२५ ॥

'Sir, in the past, I approached the great sage Agnivesa, seeking to acquire his weapons and eager to learn the science of warfare. Devoted to serving my teacher, I lived with him for many years, adopting the humble guise of a Brahmachari, with matted locks adorning my head.' ॥ 1-122-25 ॥

barahma cArI vinItAtmA jaTilò bahulAH samAH avasaM tatra suciraM dhanurveda cikIrSayA ॥ 1-122-25 ॥
