बरह्म चारी विनीतात्मा जटिलॊ बहुलाः समाः अवसं तत्र सुचिरं धनुर्वेद चिकीर्षया ।। १-१२२-२५ ।।

sanskrit

'Sir, in the past, I approached the great sage Agnivesa, seeking to acquire his weapons and eager to learn the science of warfare. Devoted to serving my teacher, I lived with him for many years, adopting the humble guise of a Brahmachari, with matted locks adorning my head.' ।। 1-122-25 ।।

english translation

barahma cArI vinItAtmA jaTilò bahulAH samAH avasaM tatra suciraM dhanurveda cikIrSayA || 1-122-25 ||
