कुरूंश च विप्रमुख्यांश च भॊजयित्वा सहस्रशः रत्नौघान दविजमुख्येभ्यॊ दत्त्वा गरामवरान अपि ॥ १-११९-२ ॥

sanskrit

'Having fed thousands of Kurus and eminent Brahmins, and having given heaps of jewels and also the best villages to the foremost of the twice-born.' ॥ 1-119-2 ॥

english translation

kurUMza ca vipramukhyAMza ca bhòjayitvA sahasrazaH ratnaughAna davijamukhyebhyò dattvA garAmavarAna api ॥ 1-119-2 ॥
