परेतकार्ये च निर्वृत्ते पितृमेधं महायशाः लभतां सर्वधर्मज्ञः पाण्डुः कुरुकुलॊद्वहः ॥ १-११७-३१ ॥
'Let the great Pandu, the upholder of all righteousness, who has completed the duties for the departed, perform the ancestral rite with glory.' ॥ 1-117-31 ॥
english translation
paretakArye ca nirvRtte pitRmedhaM mahAyazAH labhatAM sarvadharmajJaH pANDuH kurukulòdvahaH ॥ 1-117-31 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवम उक्त्वा कुरून सर्वान कुरूणाम एव पश्यताम कषणेनान्तर हिताः सर्वे चारणा गुह्यकैः सह ॥ १-११७-३२ ॥
'Saying this, and making all the Kurus do the same, let all those charioteers with Guhya weapons stationed in their respective positions know this in a moment.' ॥ 1-117-32 ॥
english translation
evama uktvA kurUna sarvAna kurUNAma eva pazyatAma kaSaNenAntara hitAH sarve cAraNA guhyakaiH saha ॥ 1-117-32 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगन्धर्वनगराकारं तत्रैवान्तर्हितं पुनः ऋषिसिद्धगणं दृष्ट्वा विस्मयं ते परं ययुः ॥ १-११७-३३ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, 'The ascetics with Guhyakas, having said this unto the Kurus, instantly disappeared in the very sight of the people. And beholding the Rishis and the Siddhas thus vanish in their sight like vapoury forms appearing and disappearing in the skies, the citizens filled with wonder returned to their homes.' ॥ 1-117-33 ॥

gandharvanagarAkAraM tatraivAntarhitaM punaH RSisiddhagaNaM dRSTvA vismayaM te paraM yayuH ॥ 1-117-33 ॥
