पूर्वम आगस्कृतॊ गत्वा दशार्णाः समरे जिताः पाण्डुना नरसिंहेन कौरवाणां यशॊभृता ॥ १-१०५-८ ॥

sanskrit

'Before that, having gone eastward, the Bharatas conquered the Dasarnas in battle. Thus, Pandu, the lion among men, enhanced the glory of the Kauravas.' ॥ 1-105-8 ॥

english translation

pUrvama AgaskRtò gatvA dazArNAH samare jitAH pANDunA narasiMhena kauravANAM yazòbhRtA ॥ 1-105-8 ॥
