यदाश्रौषं वाहनेष्व आश्वसत्सु; रथॊपस्थे तिष्ठता गाण्डिवेन सर्वान यॊधान वारितान अर्जुनेन; तदा नाशंसे विजयाय संजय ॥ १-१-१३७ ॥

'When I heard that, standing in his chariot among the horses, Arjuna, with the Gandiva bow in hand, repelled all the warriors, then, O Sanjaya, I had no hope of success.' ॥ 1-1-137 ॥

english translation

yadAzrauSaM vAhaneSva Azvasatsu; rathòpasthe tiSThatA gANDivena sarvAna yòdhAna vAritAna arjunena; tadA nAzaMse vijayAya saMjaya ॥ 1-1-137 ॥
