ते चापि बृहती शयामे नीलकुञ्चित मूर्धजे रक्ततुङ्ग नखॊपेते पीनश्रेणि पयॊधरे ॥ १-९६-५४ ॥

sanskrit

'And both Ambika and Ambalika were tall and of the complexion of molten gold. And their heads were covered with black curly hair and their finger-nails were high and red;' ॥ 1-96-54 ॥

english translation

te cApi bRhatI zayAme nIlakuJcita mUrdhaje raktatuGga nakhòpete pInazreNi payòdhare ॥ 1-96-54 ॥
