वारणं जघने निघ्नन दन्ताभ्याम अपरॊ यथा वाशिताम अनुसंप्राप्तॊ यूथपॊ बलिनां वरः ॥ १-९६-२६ ॥

sanskrit

'Driven by the desire to acquire the maidens, he charged at Bhishma akin to a powerful elephant leader, attacking another formidable one, tearing at his hips with his tusks, much like when one elephant confronts another in the presence of a female in estrus.' ॥ 1-96-26 ॥

english translation

vAraNaM jaghane nighnana dantAbhyAma aparò yathA vAzitAma anusaMprAptò yUthapò balinAM varaH ॥ 1-96-26 ॥
