विचित्रवीर्यं च तदा बालम अप्राप्तयौवनम कुरुराज्ये महाबाहुर अभ्यषिञ्चद अनन्तरम ।। १-९५-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'He then installed the boy Vichitravirya of mighty arms, still in his minority, on the throne of the Kurus. And Vichitravirya, placing himself under the command of Bhishma, ruled the ancestral kingdom.' ।। 1-95-12 ।।

english translation

vicitravIryaM ca tadA bAlama aprAptayauvanama kururAjye mahAbAhura abhyaSiJcada anantarama || 1-95-12 ||
