अथाभ्यषिञ्चत साम्राज्ये सर्वक्षत्रस्य पौरवम विषाण भूतं सर्वस्यां पृथिव्याम इति नः शरुतम ॥ १-८९-३९ ॥

sanskrit

'Then, it is heard by us, Vasishtha consecrated the descendant of Puru as the emperor over all Kshatriyas, making him the sovereign of the entire earth.' ॥ 1-89-39 ॥

english translation

athAbhyaSiJcata sAmrAjye sarvakSatrasya pauravama viSANa bhUtaM sarvasyAM pRthivyAma iti naH zarutama ॥ 1-89-39 ॥
