एष मे दक्षिणॊ राजन पाणिस ताम्रनखाङ्गुलिः समुद्धर गृहीत्वा मां कुलीनस तवं हि मे मतः ।। १-७३-२० ।।

sanskrit

'Devayani said, "This right hand of mine, O king, with nails shining like burnished copper, is extended towards thee. By lifting me out of this, you shall be considered noble in my eyes."' ।। 1-73-20 ।।

english translation

eSa me dakSiNò rAjana pANisa tAmranakhAGguliH samuddhara gRhItvA mAM kulInasa tavaM hi me mataH || 1-73-20 ||
