[व] कृतविद्ये कचे पराप्ते हृष्टरूपा दिवौकसः कचाद अधीत्य तां विद्यां कृतार्था भरतर्षभ ॥ १-७३-१ ॥
'Vaisampayana said, 'The dwellers in heaven became exceedingly glad in welcoming Kacha who had mastered the wonderful science. And, O bull of Bharata's race, the celestials then learned that science from Kacha and considered their object already achieved' ॥ 1-73-1 ॥
