ऋषेर अङ्गिरसः पौत्रं पुत्रं साक्षाद बृहस्पतेः नाम्ना कच इति खयातं शिष्यं गृह्णातु मां भवान ॥ १-७१-१७ ॥

sanskrit

'You are well aware that I am Kacha, the grandson of the sage Angiras, And the direct disciple of Brihaspati himself. Please accept me as your student.' ॥ 1-71-17 ॥

english translation

RSera aGgirasaH pautraM putraM sAkSAda bRhaspateH nAmnA kaca iti khayAtaM ziSyaM gRhNAtu mAM bhavAna ॥ 1-71-17 ॥
