मेनका तरिदशेष्व एव तरिदशाश चानु मेनकाम ममैवॊद्रिच्यते जन्म दुःषन्त तव जन्मतः ॥ १-६९-२ ॥

sanskrit

'Menaka is counted among the celestial beings, indeed, she is esteemed as the foremost of the celestials. Consequently, my birth, O Dushmanta, is significantly elevated beyond yours.' ॥ 1-69-2 ॥

english translation

menakA taridazeSva eva taridazAza cAnu menakAma mamaivòdricyate janma duHSanta tava janmataH ॥ 1-69-2 ॥
