भार्यां पतिः संप्रविश्य स यस्माज जायते पुनः जायाया इति जायात्वं पुराणाः कवयॊ विदुः ॥ १-६८-३६ ॥
'According to the Vedas, as recognized by the sages, the husband, by entering the womb of the wife, is reborn as the son. Thus, the term 'Jaya' for a wife, signifies 'the one from whom one is reborn.' ॥ 1-68-36 ॥
