मतङ्गं याजयां चक्रे यत्र परीतमनाः सवयम तवं च सॊमं भयाद यस्य गतः पातुं शुरेश्वर ।। १-६५-३३ ।।

sanskrit

'It was Viswamitra who in return for the services of Matanga, himself became the latter's priest for purposes of a sacrifice. The lord of the celestials himself went through fear to drink the Soma juice.' ।। 1-65-33 ।।

english translation

mataGgaM yAjayAM cakre yatra parItamanAH savayama tavaM ca sòmaM bhayAda yasya gataH pAtuM zurezvara || 1-65-33 ||
