मरुतां तु गणाद विद्धि संजातम अरिमर्दनम विराटं नाम राजर्षिं परराष्ट्र परतापनम ।। १-६१-७६ ।।

sanskrit

'And that royal sage also, Virata by name, the scorcher of the kingdoms of others, and the great oppressor of all foes, was born of the portion of the same gods.' ।। 1-61-76 ।।

english translation

marutAM tu gaNAda viddhi saMjAtama arimardanama virATaM nAma rAjarSiM pararASTra paratApanama || 1-61-76 ||
