दानवान राक्षसांश चैव गन्धर्वान पन्नगांस तथा पुरुषादानि चान्यानि जघ्नुः सत्त्वान्य अनेकशः ॥ १-५९-५ ॥
'They vanquished the Danavas, Rakshasas, Gandharvas, and Nagas, as well as other beings with a taste for human flesh, along with numerous other creatures.' ॥ 1-59-5 ॥
