इत्य एष वंशप्रभवः कथितस ते तरस्विनाम असुराणां सुराणां च पुराणे संश्रुतॊ मया ॥ १-५९-३७ ॥

sanskrit

'Thus hath been recited by me, as heard in the Purana, of the progeny of the gods and the Asuras, both of great strength and energy.' ॥ 1-59-37 ॥

english translation

itya eSa vaMzaprabhavaH kathitasa te tarasvinAma asurANAM surANAM ca purANe saMzrutò mayA ॥ 1-59-37 ॥
