करूर सवभावं करूरायाः पुत्रपौत्रम अनन्तकम गणः करॊधवशॊ नाम करूरकर्मारि मर्दनः ॥ १-५९-३१ ॥
'And the countless progeny of Krura (krodha) were as crooked and wicked as herself.' ॥ 1-59-31 ॥

अनायुषः पुनः पुत्राश चत्वारॊ ऽसुर पुङ्गवाः विक्षरॊ बलवीरौ च वृत्रश चैव महासुरः ॥ १-५९-३२ ॥
'And the tribe was wrathful, of crooked deeds, and persecutors of their foes. And Danayu also had four sons who were bulls among the Asuras. They were Vikshara, Vala, Vira, and Vritra the great Asura.' ॥ 1-59-32 ॥

कालायाः परथिताः पुत्राः कालकल्पाः परहारिणः भुवि खयाता महावीर्या दानवेषु परंतपाः ॥ १-५९-३३ ॥

असुराणाम उपाध्यायः शुक्रस तव ऋषिसुतॊ ऽभवत खयाताश चॊशनसः पुत्राश चत्वारॊ ऽसुर याजकाः ॥ १-५९-३५ ॥
'And Sukra, the son of a Rishi, was the chief priest of the Asuras. And the celebrated Sukra had four sons who were priests of the Asuras.' ॥ 1-59-35 ॥
