अदित्यां दवादशादित्याः संभूता भुवनेश्वराः ये राजन नामतस तांस ते कीर्तयिष्यामि भारत ॥ १-५९-१४ ॥

sanskrit

'From Aditi have sprung the twelve Adityas who are the lords of the universe. And, O Bharata, as they are according to their names, I shall recount them to thee.' ॥ 1-59-14 ॥

english translation

adityAM davAdazAdityAH saMbhUtA bhuvanezvarAH ye rAjana nAmatasa tAMsa te kIrtayiSyAmi bhArata ॥ 1-59-14 ॥
