कारयन्तः कृषिं गॊभिस तथा वैश्याः कषिताव इह न गाम अयुञ्जन्त धुरि कृशाङ्गाश चाप्य अजीवयन ।। १-५८-१९ ।।

sanskrit

'The Vaisyas, with the help of bullocks, caused the earth to be tilled. And they never yoked the cattle themselves. And they fed with care all lean cattle.' ।। 1-58-19 ।।

english translation

kArayantaH kRSiM gòbhisa tathA vaizyAH kaSitAva iha na gAma ayuJjanta dhuri kRzAGgAza cApya ajIvayana || 1-58-19 ||
