पाण्डॊस तु जज्ञिरे पञ्च पुत्रा देवसमाः पृथक दवयॊः सत्रियॊर गुणज्येष्ठस तेषाम आसीद युधिष्ठिरः ॥ १-५७-९६ ॥
'And from Dwaipayana also born, in the Sudra caste, the wise and intelligent Vidura, conversant with both religion and profit, and free from all sins. And unto Pandu by his two wives were born five sons like the celestials. The eldest of them was Yudhishthira.' ॥ 1-57-96 ॥
