मृते पितरि ते वीरा वनाद एत्य सवमन्दिरम नचिराद इव विद्वांसॊ वेदे धनुषि चाभवन ॥ १-५५-६ ॥

sanskrit

'On the death of their father those heroes (the Pandavas) came to their own home. And within a short time they became wellversed in archery.' ॥ 1-55-6 ॥

english translation

mRte pitari te vIrA vanAda etya savamandirama nacirAda iva vidvAMsò vede dhanuSi cAbhavana ॥ 1-55-6 ॥
