महर्षेः सर्वलॊकेषु विश्रुतस्यास्य धीमतः परवक्ष्यामि मतं कृत्स्नं वयासस्यामित तेजसः ॥ १-५५-२ ॥

sanskrit

'I shall recite in full what I have heard from the high-souled and great Rishi Vyasa, the first of intelligent men in the three worlds.' ॥ 1-55-2 ॥

english translation

maharSeH sarvalòkeSu vizrutasyAsya dhImataH paravakSyAmi mataM kRtsnaM vayAsasyAmita tejasaH ॥ 1-55-2 ॥
