हूयमाने भृशं दीप्ते विधिवत पावके तदा न सम स परापतद वह्नौ तक्षकॊ भयपीडितः ।। १-५३-३ ।।

sanskrit

'Despite the pouring of libations in due form into the blazing sacrificial fire in the name of Takshaka, who was distressed with fear, he did not immediately descend into the flames.' ।। 1-53-3 ।।

english translation

hUyamAne bhRzaM dIpte vidhivata pAvake tadA na sama sa parApatada vahnau takSakò bhayapIDitaH || 1-53-3 ||
