ऐरावत कुलाद एते परैविष्टा हव्यवाहनम कौरव्य कुलजान नागाञ शृणु मे दविजसत्तम ॥ १-५२-११ ॥
'Born in the lineage of Airavata, these serpents were also mentioned in the sacrificial rites offered to the fire. O best among the twice-born, listen to the names of the snakes born in the Kauravya lineage.' ॥ 1-52-11 ॥

ऐण्डिलः कुण्डलॊ मुण्डॊ वेणि सकन्धः कुमारकः बाहुकः शृङ्गवेगश च धूर्तकः पातपातरौ ॥ १-५२-१२ ॥
'Aindila, Kundala, Munda, Veni, Sakandha, Kumarakha, Bahu, Shringavegash, Dhurta, and Patapatarau—these are the snakes born in the Kauravya lineage.' ॥ 1-52-12 ॥

धृतराष्ट्र कुले जाताञ शृणु नागान यथातथम कीर्त्यमानान मया बरह्मन वातवेगान विषॊल्बणान ॥ १-५२-१३ ॥
'Those born in the lineage of Kauravya descended into the fire. Now, I will enumerate, in order, the names of the serpents endowed with the swiftness of the wind and potent venom, born in the race of Dhritarashtra.' ॥ 1-52-13 ॥

शङ्कुकर्णः पिङ्गलकः कुठार मुखमेचकौ पूर्णाङ्गदः पूर्णमुखः परहसः शकुनिर हरिः ॥ १-५२-१४ ॥
'Shankukarna, Pingalaka, Kuthara, Mukhamechaka, Purnangada, Purnamukha, Parahasa, Shakuni, and Hari—these are the snakes born in the race of Dhritarashtra.' ॥ 1-52-14 ॥

आमाहठः कॊमठकः शवसनॊ मानवॊ वटः भैरवॊ मुण्डवेदाङ्गः पिशङ्गश चॊद्र पारगः ॥ १-५२-१५ ॥
'Aamahatha, Komatha, Shavasana, Manava, Vata, Bhairava, Mundavedanga, Pishangasha, and Odraparaga—these are the snakes born in the race of Dhritarashtra.' ॥ 1-52-15 ॥
