इदं चासीत तत्र पूर्वं सर्पसत्रे भविष्यति निमित्तं महद उत्पन्नं यज्ञविघ्न करं तदा ॥ १-४७-१३ ॥

sanskrit

'And before the commencement of the snake-Sacrifice that was to come, there occurred this very important incident foreboding obstruction to the sacrifice.' ॥ 1-47-13 ॥

english translation

idaM cAsIta tatra pUrvaM sarpasatre bhaviSyati nimittaM mahada utpannaM yajJavighna karaM tadA ॥ 1-47-13 ॥
