एतत ते कथितं राजन यथावृत्तं यथा शरुतम शरुत्वा तु नृपशार्दूल परकुरुष्व यथेप्सितम ॥ १-४६-३२ ॥

'Majestic sovereign, we have faithfully recounted all that has unfolded before us and resonated within our ears. Having presented this account, O eminent ruler, we humbly seek your wise decree on the path that should unfold henceforth.' ॥ 1-46-32 ॥

english translation

etata te kathitaM rAjana yathAvRttaM yathA zarutama zarutvA tu nRpazArdUla parakuruSva yathepsitama ॥ 1-46-32 ॥
