धर्मात्मा च महात्मा च परजा पालः पिता तव आसीद इह यथावृत्तः स महात्मा शृणुष्व तत ॥ १-४५-६ ॥

sanskrit

'Like unto an impersonation of virtue and justice, the monarch, cognisant of virtue, virtuously protected the four orders, each engaged in the discharge of their specified duties.' ॥ 1-45-6 ॥

english translation

dharmAtmA ca mahAtmA ca parajA pAlaH pitA tava AsIda iha yathAvRttaH sa mahAtmA zRNuSva tata ॥ 1-45-6 ॥
